Multiple Retail-MFD Locations for Veritas Investments

As advisors to this San Francisco REIT, we reviewed four assets with ground-floor retail opportunities in buildings to instill new pedestrian vitality for asset repositioning in the Tenderloin and North Beach districts. Cost scenarios were developed for deferred maintenance, code compliance, creation of ground-floor retail, and pedestrian-sidewalk zone upgrade enhancements to these buildings. Recommendations included new demised ground floor retail space, street-front parklets, alleyway upgrades for extended retail operations beyond the building, and multi-story advertising display on blank high-rise facades.
