20 years in an Orinda leased facility, this 1,700-student liberal arts university relocated and consolidated operations to a renovated 102,000 SF former BofA training facility. We assisted with an assessment of the University’s business plans, program requirements, and financial profile. Based upon this analysis we recommended asset ownership verse leasing. Profiling the University’s target student characteristics, we cross-referenced this with GIS demographic data for a focused market search. This directed us to a specific asset for an off-market purchase transaction to align the University’s long-term objectives with a freeway frontage and freeway accessibility asset in a desirable new geographic market.
